Adjustments and articular mobilisation

Chiropractic adjustments, sometimes called manipulations, are specialized techniques that allow an articulation to regain its full mobility and movement capacity. Adjustments help reduce the pain and muscular tension associated with articular restrictions. The methods used can vary from being done by hand, with instruments or with a specialized table.

Impulse
The “Impulse” is an instrument that was specially created to deliver soft and precise chiropractic adjustments to the spine and extremities’ articulations, in order to relieve from pain and improve the articulations’ function. This tool is controlled by a micro-computer, whose circuits, located inside the instrument, allow your chiropractor to control the device’s strength depending on the body zone being treated. There is no noise when this instrument is used in chiropractic adjustments.

Decompression table
The Saint-Lambert Chiropractic Clinic owns a distraction/decompression table. This table is used to reduce the pressure in intervertebral discs and spinal nerves. This contributes greatly to restore correct functioning and good movement of the vertebrae. Originally created to treat spinal disc herniation (slipped disc), this table can be used on most patients in order to restore adequate spine functioning.
